INGREDIENTS
1-1/3 cups warm water
2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

DIRECTIONS
Place ingredients in bread pan in order listed or according to manufacturer's directions. When adding the yeast last, make a small well for it, to insure proper timing of the yeast reaction. Use basic (white bread) cycle. If baking dough in the oven, bake for 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Tent with foil if top is browning too quickly. Makes a 2 pound loaf.
