1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter (we use extra crunchy)
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 325ºF. Cream together sugars, peanut butter, and butter or margarine; beat in eggs.
2. Stir together flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture. Beat just until well-mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.
3. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet (a cookie scoop works great here. I love mine!) Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
4. Bake about 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly before removing from pan to cooling rack.
Makes 6 dozen cookies

I just made these this week because I was looking for a simple recipe with ingredients I had on hand. They were so easy and SO delicious! I got lots of great feedback from my family.
