1 small onion, minced
1 tsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups brown rice (NOT instant)
3 cups hot water
3 tsp chicken broth powder or buillion

1. Over medium heat, saute garlic and onion in butter until onion is translucent
2. Stir in rice, hot water, and chicken buillion.
3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover tightly, and simmer for 40-45 minutes, until water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and serve.

Bee always asks for seconds (sometimes thirds) of this rice.
