1 pound ground beef or turkey
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix (or 3 tablespoons scratch mix)
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 (14.5 ounce) can beef broth (or 2 cups water plus 2 teaspoons beef broth powder)
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (14.5 ounce) can crushed tomatoes or tomato puree
1 (7 ounce) can chopped green chiles
2 (15 ounce) cans red kidney beans
1 (15 ounce) can chili beans

1. In a Dutch oven, brown ground meat with onion and garlic, until onion is translucent and meat is no longer pink. Season with taco seasoning mix and coriander, and stir until meat is evenly coated with seasonings.
2. Pour in beef broth, tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, green chiles, and beans. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 30 minutes to blend flavors. Garnish with sour cream and cheddar cheese.
